Multi-Pac Marquee

This cabinet was originally a Pac-Man. Then it was an Arkanoid. Soon, it will be Multi-Pac.

TRYING to strip the cabinet

Step 1: Remove the hardware, stickers, T-Molding, and strip off the paint. This is really stubborn, thick paint.

Sanded Stripped and ready

Step 2: Strip and sand off the paint. We removed as much paint as we could. We also wiped down the cabinet to remove any loose particles.

Step 3: Primer. We also bought a Pac-Man control panel at this point. It has to be refinished but is complete.

Step 4: Painted inside the monitor area black and the outside blue to match the colors (almost) in the monitor glass. These pictures make the blue look lighter than the cabinet actually is. We also added T-molding.

Step 5: Assembled everything. Added new fluorescent (screw-in) lights. This cabinet originally had incandescent bulbs. The picture on the left shows the incandescent bulbs lighting the marquee. The one below shows the fluorescent bulbs behind the marquee.
